Funny thing about the "truth"...it's there wether you want to acknowledge it or not. Your ability to be introspective leads me to believe that you probably know what your reaction and the effects will be no matter what the outcome. No surprises. Your ignorance is not a source of bliss, but instead a Band-Aid for your fears. Rip it off, kid. One quick motion....

good point re: the 'truth being out there' - I suppose it always is...though it's still just a story, however autobiographical it may have been at one point in my life or however autobiographical it may be again at another part going forward. You'll just have to wait and see the outcome.

your honesty is truly a wonderful thing. I and most every other women I know can relate to your story on every single level!! It is comforting to know that we are not alone in this long awaited novel that we have all yet to write called...My Love Story.
