the morning radio in Tallahassee is abismal. i miss the Charlotte stations.

I think I'd want to see all 7 wonders of the world. That'd be some accomplishment.

Go on vacation by myself to Aruba.

Lists are great, especially lifetime ones. The only thing I don't like about them is that your list gets shorter when you accomplish the activity. For example, I wanted to either get married or have my Ph.D. before age 30. Now that I have accomplished both before 28, my list has gotten way shorter. Guess I have to fall back on seeing Genesis and Pink Floyd in concert or get creative and add new things to my list!

It is a fantastic theory, and one that everyone should embrace. I've seen so many different versions of it over the years, but the end result is the same.

We started making this list my junior year of high school, almost 15 (yikes!) years ago. So far we've accomplished a few things--own my car free and clear, have a healthy relationship that lasts longer that six weeks, own a dog, scuba dive, live in a foreign country, etc. Still left to accomplish of my 76 things listed: Own a Burnese Mountain Dog, spend time in Alaska, go skydiving, and (now more of a possibility than it was fifteen years ago when I wrote it down) travel in space.

I forget who quoted it, but it all boils down to the same thing--"Give someone flowers today, so that they might enjoy them while they are alive, rather than wait and send flowers to their funeral." Sieze the day, carpe diem, and do what ever the hell you want.
