FYI: "Mardi Gras" beads are never, ever to be worn outside of Mardi Gras season.

Not to attack you personally (especially since you were drunk), but it's highly disturbing that beads have become a 365-day habit in New Orleans (maybe that died with the hurricane ...) and appear everywhere (I particularly hate team-colored beads worn at football games).

Of course, the best teams' colors are based on Mardi Gras colors anyway ... but football isn't played during Mardi Gras.
